How do I request a showing?
Kerrianne Ciccone can make arrangements for a visit to 210 COMMON STREET: Kerrianne Ciccone, REALTOR®, Kerrianne.Ciccone@raveis.com, 617.999.3459
Square Footage:
2,654 + 1,100
What’s this I hear about a mistake in the Square Footage?
Yes, you heard right. Before August 2018, the Town of Belmont had an incorrect square footage listed in the public record for 210 COMMON STREET. When this was brought to their attention, they sent a town assessor to re-measure. The new corrected measurement is 2,654 square feet.
Does 2,654 Sq. Ft. include the fully finished basement?
No. Because of regulations, any floor that’s even partially below ground must be excluded from the official listing of square footage.
The basement is fully finished with a careful attention to detail and aesthetics. The soundproofed Home Office (above) connects with the red-draped home theatre with multilevel seating.
How much extra space is there in the fully finished basement?
1,100 Sq. Ft. The fully finished basement includes a large home office, a theatrical media room, a half bath, laundry, storage and workshop space.
The basement is fully finished, with 1,100 square feet of space: Home Office (or bedroom), Media Room (or playroom/den), Half Bath, Laundry, Daylight Basement space (currently workshop).
Neighborhood
I like dining out. Are there good options nearby?
Lots of great restaurants nearby — all within easy walking distance… Like the award-winning Il Casale. And now The Wellington, by the same chef/owner. Savino’s is excellent for Mediterranean food. More casual restaurants also abound, like Stone Hearth Pizza or Patou for Thai cuisine.
What else is in the Neighborhood?
The Town Pool in Belmont, just a few blocks from 210 COMMON STREET, was the first public pool in the nation. It’s been recently renovated to offer plenty of relaxing and exercising (and snacking) options.
There’s an abundance of boutiques, clothing, jewelry, consignment and specialty stores in both Belmont Center and Cushing Square. (210 COMMON STREET is almost exactly halfway between both — and an easy walk to either.) And of course, Cushing Village (now renamed “The Bradford Development”) will be opening soon, with lots of retail shops and restaurants eagerly anticipated.
What’s a great neighborhood without great neighbors?
Last year’s flyer for the Annual Summer Block Party... A neighborhood tradition 15 years in the making!
The Common Street and Cedar Road community is truly special. For example, this year will be the 15th Annual Summer Block Party.
How are the schools?
Belmont Public Schools consistently rank among the Top School Districts in America and Massachusetts: Belmont ranks #6 (of 218) in Massachusetts. And #45 (of 10,758) in the nation. 210 COMMON STREET is just blocks from all three public schools — Wellington K-4, Chenery 5-8, Belmont High 9-12.
Convenience
nearby grocery stores?
Plenty of options… Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods and 2 Star Markets — all just 8 minutes (2.5 miles) from 210 COMMON STREET.
nearby pharmacies?
Local Belmont Pharmacy and 2 CVS locations are less than 3 minutes (3/4 mile) from 210 COMMON STREET.
